congrats!

I Always wanted the batcontrol that was the button to the cave from wayne manor - the bust that flipped open to reveal the buttons. I've always wanted one of those to open up a secret room in a den or something

I saw they had a replica for sale of one of those a few years ago, but I'm not sure if it actually worked as a switch.

Thanks, thanks...

I'll tell you the irony behind the batphone and work... all I wanted to do, was put a batphone on my desk at work... that's it. The girlfriend does not quite appreciate it, so I definately want to show it to people.
So I figure if I'm going to bring it in, it's gotta light up, people will ask... so I spend 2 months getting the lighting right, and then I find out that our whole office is a digital phone line, and now I need an adaptor.
So as I'm looking for a cheap adapter, I find out I'm laid off, so I'm not bringing it in anway.
Then I get a new job, but it's downtown DC and every box/bag you bring to work has to be X-rayed. No way they'll let me bring that in.

Alas.
Thanks again for all of your support and well-wishing. I appreciate it.

That replica Shakespear bust DID really work... it had a plug and an outlet on it, so you plug in 'whatever' into the bust, and its cord into the wall, and then when you flipped the switch, it would turn 'whatever' on.
It was an exclusive to Toy Syndicate a few years back, and they don't seem to have it online now... but they have been popping up on eBay.
Regardless, it's like $300
